The trailer for Punisher War Zone is up. As is the case with re-boots lately (see Incredible Hulk), this Frank Castle is much more dark and disturbed. Think of the movie as done more in homage to German Expressionism or Film Noir (though not as literally as Sin City). I actually stopped watching the original Thomas Jane Punisher mid-feature. I don’t think this film will have a hard time topping the last. The word is this film will carry an “R” rating, so there is hope. If you’ve listened to Pete’s love ballads of the Punisher you’d know how demented the character is, which is why we (and Pete) love him so much.
