The Adventures of Little Batman is a short fan-film shot by Joe Valenti and stars mostly 5 and 6 year old kids. It’s a definite must-see for kids and parents alike. As you can see it draws primarily on the Adam West/Burt Ward Batman series of the 1960s. There are currently three videos. I think this is great. Recently the complete video was honored at the Sundays in the City Film Festival in Tribeca. My younger brother and I used to dress up as Batman and Superman respectively, but I’m not sure our Dad’s video camera was quite as good as Valenti’s. Plus there was the terrible acting too. I don’t recall having a great memory for scripted lines when I was 5. These kids seem to pull it off very well. Let us know what you think. Did you ever shoot superhero home movies when you were kids?
