Crunch time is officially here, I just took my first mid-term in over 5 years. I sweated bullets quietly every day leading up to it. Things have been crazy this last week with the new job and trying to find a new apartment. Saturday was the big housewarming party, and Sunday was just a waste. All I can say is thank god for online supplementary class material…and online practice quizzes.
I even got a message from my professor (sent to the whole class) saying that because everyone had so much trouble with a particularly point-weighted question, a portion of the points will be converted to bonus points. Which makes me feel a whole lot better. Bonus points = Happy.
In addition, I have all kinds of packages coming in with replacement equipment for my computer and my camera. With all the new things happening it’s a lot harder to recieve packages. Or stand in one place for more than 20 minutes. Not that it’s a bad thing, but definitely a big life change this year.
Things have quieted down for today, but tomorrow it’s another mid-term in the evening. No sweat, laptop allowed, open-book, no pressure right? Actually now the pressure is to get 100% (no bonus offered). And it’s mostly Time Value of Money, Bond Valuation, Stock Pricing, etc. That’s corporate finance for you. At least it’s open book.
